The Sydney Opera house hosted "La Sylphide", a ballet about a young man who falls victim to a witched bent up on revenge against him after he kicked her butt out into cold weather. The ballet showed the great talent and beauty that the cast had.
The story sees the young guy fall in love with a mystical creature who has lived to protect him, and like any well crafted love story, blinded by beauty and love the witch was able to manipulate both into their inevitable doom (meaning deaths).

The dancers were phenomenal, I found myself captivated and unable to look away as they told the story through dance. The back dropped of the habour was no eyesore during intermission it was relaxing to stand and watch the city be coated in a light rain. As my first ballet I enjoyed myself a lot and advise others to get together and have a night out in the town, Sydney is amazing and there are some real lovely spots near the opera house. so wether you just passing through sydney or live near by go down and see the wonderful city for yourself
